Driver & Operator Training
Driver & Operator Training prepares students to start their careers as a Class 3 Driver operating equipment such as snow plows, wireline trucks, and hydrovacs.
This program provides students with the essential safety awareness and certification, workplace culture preparation, industry exposure, theory and driver training needed to obtain their Class 3 license.
Program Length: 6 weeks
Location: Edmonton
Tuition: Tuition is funded by our program sponsors Badger Daylighting, The Calgary Airport Authority at YYC, Carmack’s & Chemco.
Class Capacity: 12
Admission Requirements: Class 5 Driver's License (no GDL) and a 5 year driver's abstract.
Certificates included:
- Standard First Aid CPR A & AED
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Flag Person
- H2S Alive Certificate
- CSTS-09 Certificate
- RSTS Certificate
- OSSA Fall Protection
Upon completion of this program, students will also have support in job search and receive earned employer referrals to support employment opportunities.
